Business Grade Internet Connectivity
Starting with internet connectivity, whether a broadband solution suffices, or even if greater bandwidth requirements dictate the provision of a leased line, quality of service is included. The configuration of the internet gateway router reserves enough bandwidth for all telephone calls in to and out of the building.
Connecting the internet to the IP phones requires a switch; preferably with power over Ethernet (PoE) support. If the switch supplies the power then individual phone supplies don’t need purchasing, saving money. Stamford Telephone Company can supply this but if one is available already we can discuss how best to use it to protect the telephone service.
A great range of desk and DECT (Digital European Cordless Telecommunications) phones are available. These can be supplied free of charge when the internet connectivity is included in a minimum 3 year deal. All desk phones offer high definition quality voice.
Advertising a business number already? This can be ported in to the new cloud hosted telephone service. If not, a new business number is provided, including a second number for the voicemail portal with a group voicemail box for the main business number.
For a simple monthly subscription, every member of staff has a DDI (Direct Dial Inwards) number, from the range assigned, with a personal voicemail box configured. Very generous minutes packages are included in the subscription and because every user’s minutes allowance is aggregated for shared use across the whole company no customer has ever used more in a single month. Sensible minutes allowances translate in to predictable monthly spend.
Stamford Telephone Company project manage all aspects of the process. Once installed a one month settling in period is provided so that customers can ask for final tweaks to be made to the service ensuring the system is working just the way the customer needs it to.
